But on the other side of side of things the sports are starting to struggle on the weekend with floods and/or frozen pitches, leaving us free to shop!!
So with christmas around the corner now and lots of bookings coming in for the new year (yippee) I can tell you there is a few things on our wish list to Father Christmas... A new battery grip and a load of filters are what we need.
I also hear a lot of people asking what type of camera is best for us, so if you are looking for a decent camera we advise to look at the Canon EOS 550D as its cheaper than the recently introduced 600 and very versatile, we use them for sports, cars and product photography as they can also able to take a knock or two from normal photographer-type days (light rain, slung in the boot and so on).
So for everyone missing the sports and out shopping here a little treat

I know everyone thinks it's great being a party photographer and I agree, but not because it is a party as we can't drink, eat and dance around but because it is a great venue to get unique and once in a life time photographs, take a look at a few of our galleries for parties and weddings and hopefully you'll see what I mean as there is always unique items lying around and people doing things they wouldn't usually do in every day to day life... of course I am not saying we don't like photographing products but parties are a little different and fun eventhough we are working!

Here's a little taster (sorry for the pun!)

Today has brought a number of problems and challenges that most photographers can understand, the first is the very heavy fog in Kent at the moment, I end up having to play around with the exposure settings, it back be the same item, in the same position but two seconds after the last shot I need to lower this setting by 1/2 or even 1 to just get the same shoot. The second challenge today is the constant balancing between photograph shoots & uploading and looking for new clients and leads. Please do not get me know I enjoy this part of the day as it is seeing the finished product and also meeting new people but there never seems to be enough time in the day, week or even month some times!
Tomorrow should not bring these problems, as we are shooting food for a client indoors, it'll then be the challenges of lighting.
